Hello,
I want to know the procedure to upload the vendor certificate to inspection lot in detail.
I have gone throught SAP library but didn't get much out of it.
Please explain me step by step process.
Mimiri

Refer to SAP help portal about quality certificate for goods receipt
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/en/90/cff086e36711d1954300a0c930e04c/content.htm
In the material master
-'QM in procurement' is active
-A control key with certificate requirement is set
-A certificate type is specified
You can upload the vendor certificate to inspection lot through transaction QC51.

so i belive that when ever delivery Inspection lot UD is done Quality certifiacte is printed according to certificate profile and output type
i belive that the charactersitics of the inspection lot also printed in the Quality certificate
system gets the information from certificate profile , in the charecteristic assignement
just please someone help me that my understanding is correct
Also i need to know if i want to print Quality certificate for inspection lot how do i set the output type as there is nothing like LQCA,LQCB for inspection lot

  • Quality Certificates using Inspection Points

    Hi Experts:
It's possible print a Quality Certificates using Inspection Points?
The theory says that I can create a directly Q. Certify from Inpection Lot
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_470/helpdata/en/55/a8b43446a1c564e10000009b38f83b/frameset.htm
But I don't know how to create it using Inspection Points.
    My Inspection points are:
    1. Date
    2. Count number
    3. Work Center
The customer wants the average from different characteristics.
    Somebody can help me?

    Hi Deihus,
Yes its possible with ABAP help.
    1.     You explore QASE table. The values of MIC readings which you enter in QA32 are stored in filed QASE-MESSWERT.
    2.     Pass inspection lot numbers from QALS table in to QASE and fetch values stored under MESSWERT. You find batch number also in QALS table. (Filed CHARG).
    3.     You can co-relate inspection lot number, inspection points and batch number. Lot number is unique and available in all tables QASE, QASR, QAPP.
    4.     Calculate the average of readings (QASE-MESSWERT) on the basis on MIC(QASE- MERKNR) by ABAP programming.

  • Change ownership of Vendor Consigment within an inspection lot

    Dear Guru's,
My question is related to Vendor Consignment and Quality Inspection stock. We receive stock with Special Stock Type 'K' (Vendor consignment) and we create a stock relevant inspection lot.
My question is, is there a way to change the ownership and do a TP with MvT 411 within the inspection lot?
Does anybody has experience with this scenario? All possible solution are welcome.
    Many thanks!
    C.

    Hi Carl,
Within the inspection lot, I think it's not possible. You need to clear the stock form quality first and then you may post it.
Or you can perform the stock posting (QA11) in such a manner that meets your requirement.

  • Bapi to create quality notification with inspection lot and defects of char

    Hello experts,
Can any body tell me how to create notification using inspection lot.
    regards
    Narendranath Reddy

    Hi Narendranath,
Have you tried BAPI_QNOTIFICAT_CREATE? Based on inspection lot data, you should have the data you need to create a quality notification.
    Good luck.

  • Quality Notification and Inspection Lots

    Hello everyone:
Does anyone have an SAP environment in which the quality notifications are generated automatically followed by inspection lot creation? In these instances please explain how you manage to assign the quality notifications to the related inspection lots.
I am working on a project to create quality notifications at the time of receipt into quality inspection stock then inspection lot creation/results recording and subsequent automatic closure of quality notifications.
    Appreciate your feedback.
    Thank you.

Genrally it's not the way it operates, but I can understand the way business forces their requirements on SAP team. The way you have given the requirements, it can done but everything has to be done through development. I never come across this type of requirement but you can check the following stuff.
    1. As per SAP, once the material is received (any case Ware houes managed/ or simple IM) based on the master data set up system creates inspection lot and put the quality into stock. So, If you want to create q -note prior to inspection lot creation either it should be manual or independant of goods receipt. I suggest, find a user exit which fires at the time of GR (just before insp.lot gets created) and create the q-note based on the information from the p.o. There standard sap BAPI's available, so no complex developmen is required. Just need to find the correct user exit and timing of creating q-notes. What minmum required fields for your q-note? Do you want any defects info to be passed on to q-note from the data you maintain in MIC? You need see all these things before you go with creating prior q-note.
    2. The biggest challenge will be mtaching the q-notes created in advance to the defects/out of spec. recorded during result.recording. Again if you have a smart developer, I think it is possible. Find out the user exit/ or any BADI which can be used when the results are out of spec., turn on standard settings of SAP to create a defect record but while q-note is generated(standard sap functionality) for defect - force your logic to find out the corresponding q-note which was already created and update it with defect info. You can explore passing p.o/item number as refe. no to q-note when it was created and same can be used in add. to your Material/plant/serial no if required.
I am sure, it's a challenging one and not the normal way we do in sap, but you have to go for it if business insists. In general its not the way I have seen, may be other experts might have come across.
    Hope it helps.
    Thanks,
    Ram

  • Material not posted in quality and no inspection lot has been created

    Dear All,
We are trying to carry out the sales return scenario . we have activated the inspection types 06 and 12 to the material how ever when we do the PGR for the returns order the returns is carried out and the stock goes in unrestricted and not in quality .
Please advice how to resolve this issue

    Hi Ram,
Follow the below Customer Return procedure.
    Case1.
The 06 - Inspection type is not stock relevant and also it is not possible to change bcz it is SAP std.
    1. If you want inspection for Customer with stock, active 05 - Inspection type in Material Master, and move the stock from customer return to QI by using MB1B with Mvt type 457 Stock transfer returns to QI. After that system will create the Inspection lot in 05 Inspection type.
    2. If don't want stock for inspection and directly post to Unrestricted using MB1B with mvt type 453 Transfer posting to returns from customer to Unrest.
    3. Customer return to Blocked stock using MB1B with mvt type 459 Stock transfer returns to blocked
    Case2.
Inspectoin type 05 is a stock relevant inspection type.
To use 05 you must assign the 05 inspection type to the delivery item in configuration.
    follow this path.
tcode vov6 - there will be schedule line category DN.
go to details of DN.In Business data, check which movement type is assigned here.
I think in your case it will be 653.
change it to 655 and try now.
    hope it will work.

  • Table for 'Yes/No' to Vendor Quality Certificate?

    Dear all,
While doing GR against Purchase Order, there is a field under 'Purchase Order Data' which asks "Cert. enclosed?'. Is it standard field or customized one?
In front of "Cert. enclosed?' field a drop down is provided with two options-Yes and No.
Are these YES/NO get stored in any standard table?
When I saw Technical information of this particular field, I got Field Name: ANSWER & TABLE: QCERT_MIGO.
Edited by: Sagar Irabatti on Oct 20, 2011 9:27 AM

    Hi Sagar,
That field is purely std one..
f you activated QM in procurement and certificate receipt is a must in Define Control Keys and Define Keys for Certificate Processing, then system will propose a field to enter whether you received the certificate or not.
If the certificate is not received and you entered No during GR, then the inspection will be updated with "certificate not received" and you cannot proceed further.
Once you receive the certificate you can up date the status in QC52, which will update the status in quality inspection that certificate received so that it will allow further process.
    Please check following :
SPRO >> QM >> QM In logistics >> QM in procurement >> define key for certificate processing >>
select certificate type you assigned and see its details >> there will be tab for No certif. confirmation at GR , you remove the tick from this tab, system will show certificate confirmation tabs at MIGO.
    i hope you are clear
I will check and update the table and field
Just check JEST table its updating or not
    Regards
    Siva

  • Change "Vendor batch" data in the inspection lot

    Hi gurus,
I have created an inspection lot. It is created in automatic once the GR is made.
But, I have introduce the wrong "Vendor batch" and the inspection lot has the incorrect data there.
How I can change the "Vendor batch" data in the inspection lot?
This field is showed as greyed in the transaction QA02.
Many thanks in advance for your help!
    Kind regards,
    SP

    Hi Sandra,
Iam not sure about the option to change the Vendor Batch but i can Suggest the other option. i.e Cancellation of GR and creating the new one.
    1. First remove the 01 inspection type in Quality Management tab in Material master,
    2. Go to goods receipt in MIGo and put 102 movement type and do the reversal.
Now the stock is in the order level. and you can do the GR again.
Activate the QM tab before doing the 2nd GR.
revert back for clarifications if any.

  • Weighted from quality score of chars. with Inspection Lots

    Dear QM Guru's.
My question is about Quality Score with Inspection Lots.
    The Scenario:
    1. In a Quality master View in Material Master I use  the option number 05 of The Q-Score Procedure (Weighted from quality score of chars.)
    2. I use Inspection Points.
    3. I have 10 Inspection Points in a Characteristic.
    4. When I make the Usage desicion,  the Quality Score takes the last Inspeciton point.
    The questions:
    1. Why the  Quality Score  does take the last Inspection points, ?
    2. Is there a chance The Quality Score taking the average of all inspection points ?
    Thanks in advance.
    Federico

This procedure calculates the quality score as the weighted average of the characteristic scores.
The score for the characteristic is determined on the basis of the defect class score for the characteristic result. You define the weight of the characteristic in the inspection plan.
                                          Sum ( E_KQD(characteristic) * WEIGHT )
               E_KQD =                 ___________________________
                                                     Sum ( WEIGHT )
With E_KQD (charac.):       Score for characteristic defect class.
If the defect class is blank or zero,
the result corresponds to the maximum
                                 allowed score.
WEIGHTING:      Weight of characteristic according to
                                 inspection plan.
    Now
As I understand It is Maximum allowed score which you have defined or the Avg one.
If you want to have the Avg of all inspection points then Copy & modify  the function module   KQD_COPY_REFERENCE_FORM  ( originally KQD_FEATURE_CLASS_WEIGHTED )

  • Archive incoming quality certificate from vendor

    Hi All,
We are receiving the vendor quality certificate along with the raw material and we would like to store these certificates (in PDF format) in SAP.
As a part of this scenario i have created the quality certificate in QC51 against the PO. But I am unable to archive original certificate which we received along with material from the vendor.
Kindly elaborate what are the customizations settings are required to archive the quality certificate.
    Thanks & Regards,
    N. Laxman

First of all you have to get with your Basis person and find out where you are going to archive your certs too.  Most places set up an optical drive for this purpose.  This has to be done by basis.  They should be able to tell you what the "link" is they  have set up for the device and the repository id they have defined..  In standard SAP the link is TOA01.  But if there is no device behind this link, your archiving won't work.
In config in QM, quality certificates, process output, define archive link, you would map the "link" to the object type BUS2117, for document types QMICERT and QMICERTPDF.  This should be there already hopefully.
If this done, you should be able to archive you incoming COA's.

  • Transfer of Results from IDOC to Inspection Lot

    Hello experts,
    Following scenario:
Inbound IDOC (QCERT) from vendor with inspection results is supposed to populate the inspection lot, which is being created at GR for PO.
QM in procurement is active and QM control key and ceritificate type populated in material master record. We also activated workflow, which is supposed to execute the transfer from IDOC to the inspection lot automatically as soon as inspection lot gets status CROK.
This works only under certain circumstances in the following order:
    1. Inbound IDOC received
    2. Q-certificate created automatically from IDOC with intial status "2 - Certificate received"
    2. GR posting for PO
    3. Manual setting of status "5 - Certificate filed and inspected"
    4. Inspection lots receives status CROK and the results are being transferred to the inspection lot
This is okay as a start, but not ideal. We would like to have the following behaviour:
    1. Automatic setting of status "CROK" for inspection lot in order to transfer the results as soon as certificate and inspection lot are available.
    2. If the IDOC is being received after GR for PO, there is no connection in the Q-certificate to the inspection lot, i.e. the transfer of results will never take place, but it should.
Can anybody help and knows, if this is feasible in SAP standard?
    Many thanks!
    Martin

With IDOC Type Quality01 there is no reference to inspection lot, but in IDOC type Quality02 there is
a inspection lot reference in segment E1EDLIN-E1CCI01, you will have to find out the logic to auto
populate the lot # , please consult developer if its possible
    Thanks

  • Inspection Lot + Notification List

    Hi there,
I'm a "superuser" in a company that is trying to create a useful "vendor quality list".
It's quite annoying that the inspection lots and notification are so separated as they are today.
In QA33 you can get the inspection lots precision (for example 95 % approved inspection lots)
In different QM1X you can get notification info regarding header, defects and cause.
But where is the complete list - without exporting data to excel and spend time there..??
I have tried to connect tables in SQVI but it doesn't work completely.
    I want a list showing:
Vendor - Material - Batch No - inspection lot - UD Decision - UD Date - Notification No (if any) - Notification Header (if any) - Defect (if any) - Cause (if any)
Any suggestions anyone? This cannot be a unique requirement for my company.
    Greatful for any help.

Thanks SujitSND  and Rene for your answers!
Rene, i have connected inspection lot with Notification Header without problem, but the problem starts when you continue to connect Defects (QMFE) and Cause (QMUR) tables as well.
Instantly when you connect QMFE you cannot "lefter outer join" and you cannot see the approved inspection lots without any notification connection (only shows 124 and 125 in example below).
I want my SQVI list to show me the following:
Insp lot 123 - UD approved
    Insp lot 124 - UD rejected - Notification 234 - Notification header - Defect 12 - Cause 13
    Insp lot 125 - UD rejected - Notification 235 - Notification header - Defect 13 - Cause 13
Insp lot 126 - UD approved
Insp lot 127 - UD approved
If you have the correct sollution for this issue i am very interesting to hear it!
