Net value confirmed in POR in Classic scenario

Hi everyone,
In SUS, as you know, the vendor can confirm the net value for the items; however, I can't see this new net value in R/3. This is normal or where I can see this value??
Thanks,
Ivá

hi,
I have seen in the EBP-SUS scenario , it is possible to compare
purchase order and purchase order response which the supplier had sent
1) in the case of MM-SUS scneario , as far as i know , there is no point where you can compare --> purchase order and purchase order response.
2)there is also possibility that , the purchaser in R/3 mentions an toleranc limite -->if the changed date , quantity , price from the supplier is beyond a certain specified tolerance limit , system would not post the
IDOC and follow-on document will not be created in R/3.
3) this way purchaser makes sure that the supplier does not change the values beyond a certain limit.
4) you can also check --> for the item changes --> in the R/3 purchaser order --> to check wether the changes supplier has done are recorded (or) not...  , i am not sure about this though...

  • No GR on Confirmation Approval in Extended Classic Scenario

    Hi all gurus out there,
We are trying to implement confirmation approval workflow in our SRM system. Our SRM version is SRM 3.0 or EBP 4.0 and we are operating in extended classic scenario.
We implement the approval workflow WS10400002 (1-step approval) and WS10400010 (no approval). WS10400002 is used in situation when an administrator does the confirmation and will go to the requestor for approval. Here, when the requestor approves the confirmation, the status is updated correctly to 'Approved' but no goods receipt is triggered by the system. We looked at the workflow and found that there is no task/activity to do the post goods receipt in the backend system.
Can someone please confirm whether these are the correct workflows that I should be using and that it is not a bug? I just want to make sure it is not as a result of a standard limitation before going back to SAP.
    Cheers!
    Siow Fong

    Hi Guys,
I checked with SAP on this and found out that the standard codes would have created the goods receipt. This creation is no longer coded in the workflow itself (like the old workflow used to be). The reason why it was not working for us was a piece of code being added that prevented the creation of the goods receipt.

  • Reg: Pricing Procedure - Net Value is not reflected

    Hi Guru's,
I  am new to this concept. I do created a Pricing procedure for a material wrt vendors..
I do created conditions types - Gross Value,Discount,Freight & Tax
      My Schema is working fine.
My issue is the total value of my schema after the tax calculation is not the value reflected in Net value of PO.
only single line item (single material i doing PO). Kindly guide me to solve this issue.
    Regards
    Anandh

    Dear Umakanth
Thanks for you reply. As if u told only the subtotal is reflected as Net value in PO.
In my scenario - Calculation schema is
            C4     Gross Price                     20.00              40.00      INR
         C5     Discount % on Gross     20.000-     %     8.00-     INR
                                       Subtotal     16.00           32.00      INR
         C6     Freight/Quantity             10.00            20.00      INR
                                        Subtotal     26.00           *52.00      INR     *
         C7     Statistical Value(tax)      10.000      %     5.20      INR
                                      TOTAL     28.60           57.20      INR
The Net value reflected is 52.20
What about the total value 57.20
Where the effective value plays the role in  PO and where its displayed in PO. The invoice/Payment  is issued based on Net Value or Effective Value.
Kindly explain me in detail - Since i am new to this..

  • Question on Purchasing documents in extended classic scenario

    Hi friends
How to create local purchasing documents i.e po,confirmations, invoice, in extended classic scenario
Please let me know the path
    regards
    venkat reddy

    Hi Venkat,
The user interface and the process is same for local documents. However the result of document posting (either backend or local) depends on the setting in SPRO --> SRM --> Technical basic Settings --> Define backend system for product category.
Here you can define the target system as the system of document posting. If the terget system specified here is your SRM system, then it will create local documents in SRM.

  • Classic Scenario in SRM 7.0

    Hi,
I have a doubt. Please correct me if I am wrong:
    -  As per my knowledge, confirmation and invoice can be created either in SRM or ECC in SRM 5.0. However in the SRM 7.0
confirmation and invoice can not be created in SRM 7.0. It has to be create ECC.
    - In plant drive procurement both confirmation and invoic has to create in ECC. It should not be create in SRM 7.0.
    Thanks in advance.
    BR,
    Jennifer

    Hi Jeniffer,
In SRM 7.0 also, you can continue to create confirmation and invoice  in classic scenario against your shopping cart.
Plan driven procurement is not supported for direct materials in classic scenario. You have to use extended classic scenario i.e. in such cases PO, follow-up confirmation and invoicing can be done SRM as well.
    Thanks and regards,

  • POR transferred into MM(Backend) system in Extended Classic Scenario

I am working on standard EBP-SUS Extended Classic Scenario. We have SRM Server 7.0 SP9
As we are successfully send PO from EBP to SUS.
Issue : On working to Purchase Order Response,i am getting POR sent by SUS to EBP but we are not getting it replicated to MM.
Our Concerns about is it need extra configuration required or need to have apply some note to getting replicated POR in MM from EBP or have to configure some XI Scenario to replicate POR from SRM EBP to MM.
As we know that Extended Classic Scenario supports till Purchase Order Response still we are not getting Purchase Order Response in MM.
Please tell us, Provided Solution will  be really appreaciated.

  • Material PO confirmation at supplier side (SUS) not taking place in SRM SUS Extended classic scenario

We have configured extended classic scenario SRM with SUS, and all functions are working fine. However, at the time of PO confirmation of material item at the Supplier side (SUS), the material line item disappears when we click on the Create Confirmation button in SUS. The functionality is working fine for Service Items. The total value of PO is also displayed correctly in the Items overview section.
Please provide some help in solving this issue.

    Hello,
This is the correct behaviour of SUS - confirmations can only be created for service items which in turn create service entry sheets (Trx: ML81N in ECC).  And accepting the SES in ML81N will generate GR posting.
For material items, you have to create ASN which will in turn create inbound delivery in ECC which you can post and will generate goods movement documents.
So basically, for service items you create confirmation and for materials you create ASN.

  • How can we know in classic scenario, whether confirmation has been done in

    Hi ,
In Self service procurement with classic scenario:
I believe that we can do confirmation in EBP or in R/3.
How can we know in classic scenario after confirmation, whether confirmation has been done in EBP or in R/3.
Also please give an idea is there any configuration difference for confirmation need to do in EBP.

Using Web GUI (ITS or Portal), if you look at the SC history (or PO history) in table mode, if column where you find SC number as no value for confirmation (confirmation with SRM number range), this means PO was confirmed directly in R/3 with a Goods Receipt.
Using SAP GUI, if confirmation was done in SRM purchasing document exists in CRMD_ORDERADM_H for PROCESS_TYPE = 'CONF',

There is no specific customizing to allow SRM confirmation: just give correct role to users in order access to confirmation transactions (authorization object BBP_PD_CNF ). Check with roles EMPLOYEE* or PURCHASER*.

But when user tries to do confirm it the items are not available and confirmation is not possible in SRM.

it should be updated by running standard progarams which updated the status of the corresponding documents in R/3

  • Classic scenario : Confirmation and invoice in same system ?

    Hello experts,
    My question is as follows.
I am trying to learn various scenarios in SRM as a beginner.i undrstand how the scenarios are present and what they mean .
    In classic scenario,
can i create a goods receipt in ERP(MIGO) and then a invoice in SRM ?
If this is possible, then i wont be able to see the related documents in the shopping cart for the self service procurement business process.
Help me understand this process and the technical scenario.
Will there be a constrainst that always the confirmation and invoicing has to be done in the same system. either ERP or SRM ?
    Thanks
    per

    Hi Per,
    1. Yes this is possible, We can create the confirmation and invoice in either systems.
    2. However most of the business requirements would always follow creating the follow on documents in one of the system, mostly ERP. It is totally dependent of the business and the customer. The decision of deciding on the Classic or ECS would always take this into consideration.
Anything we do in the system should justify the business need of the customer. The possibility to create the documents is a option to provide the flexibility. Hope this helps. Let me know incase of more clarifications.

  • Confirmations in the Classic Scenario

We are currently running SRM 4.0 and using the classic scenario to create reqs and POs in the backend system.  We want to do GR in SRM and have setup the central receiver role. Is there an ALE process that needs to be activated to see the list of POs in SRM?

    Hello Nancy,
Check whether you have done below config or not:
    1. Creation of Partner Profile using tran WE20 for Message type ACC_GOODS_MOVEMENT & MBGMCR
    2. Set up Ports under Transactional RFC using Transaction WE21.

  • Static Credit Limit Check for Sales Orders - Net Value vs Credit Value

We are testing order credit check and we have run into a problem with the Static Credit Limit Check.  The Static Credit Limit Check is set to use both Order and Delivery Values.  SAP uses the values in S066 and S067 to determine what values it uses to check against the credit limit.  Standard SAP uses the confirmed quantity times the credit price to get the order values - this is the credit value.
So the problem is, once an order is released it is set up so it does not go back on credit hold, so anything which is not confirmed (but could be) it a potential credit value which is unaccounted for in the credit exposure and the customer can go over the credit limit.
Additionally, we run AFS and have items which are rejected with a J0 rejection code (unconfirmed) which have the potential of being confirmed and shipped and we want to include these items in the value of the order which is being checked against the credit limit (along with the deliveries, invoices and receivables).
    Here is a quick example.
Customer has a credit limit of $100 (no deliveries, invoices or receivables - to keep it simple)
Order 1 is placed with a credit value of $50.00 but a potential value of $100 (the other half is J0) - this passes the credit check since $50.00 is less than the limit.
Order 2 is placed for $50.00 and has a credit value of $50.  This also gets approved.
At this point, the credit limit used is 100% (based on standard SAP)
Then Order1 backorder is confirmed and the new credit value is now $100.  This order now puts the customer over their limit and if the order had been released would not go back on credit hold and therefore the customer is not over their credit limit by 50%.
What I want is for Order1 to be credit checked for the $100 not the $50 so the exposure is correct.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how we could use the Net Value of the order to perform the static credit check?  And any thoughts on how to determine the correct credit exposure (open order value plus items which are J0, plus deliveries, plus invoices, plus receivables)?
I am thinking about a Z table to track the adjusted values on the orders and then use one of the customer checks to do a static credit check with the adjusted value.  And for the exposure, use the adjusted value to recalculate the values in F.35 to show a more accurate view of the credit exposure.
Does anyone have an easier way to do this?  Any advice is appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Suzanne

    Hi Suzzane,
In the scenario that you have provided, in the first order items worth 50$ are rejected. Hence standard SAP will not take this into account as this item is rejected. Two solutions can be provided here:
    1) The line item can have a delivery block instead of  a reason for rejection. This way the 50$ will get accounted. However, if this is against customer norms as this will appear in the order acknowledgment, this cannot be used.
    2) User exit can be used where a credit check can be triggered once the document value changes, even though the document has a released status.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks,
    Vinu
