Check on internal order

Hi,
I am using internal order as a settlement receiver for capital maintenance order.
But some times accounts department closes the internal order before capital maintenance order settlement on this internal order.
I want to apply some check on internal order so that during closing of internal order system should check all the capital order maintenance order whether they are fully settled or not.
Plz suggest how to achieve this.
Regards
Rakesh

Rakesh,
You need to check with your FICO team for a suitable user-exit or BADI relating to internal orders.
Alternatively, open a new post in the Financials forum.

Hello Zita,
Try to restart your portal after creating ServiceUser in both UME and KM.
One more major difference between ServiceUser and normal portal user is that a ServiceUser does not have a UserAccount (IUserAccount)
Object serviceContext = null;
try {
serviceContext = AccessController.doPrivileged(new PrivilegedExceptionAction() {
public Object run() throws WcmException {
return ResourceFactory.getInstance().getServiceContext(CONTRACT_SERVICE_USER);
} catch (PrivilegedActionException e) {
logger.severe(e, "ResourceContext for the technical " + serviceUser +
" user could not be retrieved.");
IResourceContext resCtx = (IResourceContext) serviceContext;
So I modify all KM resources with this resCtx.
Hope this helps ...

• Budget Check by Internal Order

Dear all,
My settings for budget checking is working fine for year 2007 (current). Once budget is created for year 2008, there will be no budget checking for year 2007. Is budget checking only applied to either 2007 or 2008? More information on budget checking by IO is much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

• Can cash advance check against internal order budget?

I thought only cost elements can check against budget or statistical asset elements. But for AP balance sheet (cash advance via special GL), is that even possible?
Please advise.
Thanks in advance.

No Padmaja, Down payments made can be checked against budget using PS module
you specify a cost element in IMG to be used in the case of down payments and this is used to update PS module

• Internal Order Budget Check for PO with reference to PR / RFQ

Hi All,
I have a scenario where the budget availability control is not working for PO created with reference to PR or RFQ. While creating the PO if i modify the PO value more than RFQ or PR value then system is looking for budget control.
If we create a direct PO system is checking for Budget control where the PO value is more than availability budget.
We have the budget control check with internal order for services and non stock material based on substitution rule created for cost element group and cost center group.
In tolerance limits budget availability control we have not activated for PR, itu2019s activated from PO.
Kindly let me know what is the reason for budget availability control is not active where the PO is created with reference to PR or RFQ.
Thanks & Regards,

It is not possible to create a purchase order if the referenced purchase requisition is not released. But the system allows you to put the purchase order on hold and then release the purchase requisition.
On the other hand you can create a purchase order with reference to an unreleased request of quotation.

• Error while posting transaction to Internal order

Hi
We tried to make a transactions to the internal order, having available amount and we have posted the transaction less than the available amount yet received a yellow error message that the internal order budget almost exhausted. We checked the internal order budget it transaction KO22 and our prospective booking fit to the budget. But still we were unable to post because of the internal order budget. We could only solve to increase the budget with a bigger amount so we could reprocess the file. Why is it always that the report shows budget is available but we are unable to post due to insufficient funds. Only on adding more funds we are able to post the transactions.
Which is the correct report to view the budged is available and utilized.

• Down payment against the Internal Order - for Capital Expenditure

Dear friends
I am getting an error while making down payment against the purchase order.
The order of my entries or steps are as follows:
Created one internal order for Capital WIP with budget and availability control activation.
Created one purchase order against a vendor with reference to the above Internal Order.
When I am making the down payment to the vendor through tcode:F-48, the system throwing an error
"Define Cost Elements for Down Payments".
Can any one please explain why this error is coming. When I checked in Internal orders, there is a TCode: OKEP for Define Default Cost Elements for Down Payments.
System is asking for cost element, but where as what ever the down payment we are making is nothing but advance which is current asset. Why system is asking for cost element?
Can any one give me the guidance how to handle the issue.
Thanks in Advance

The reason is when you want the down payment for AUC to be capitalised, then you would need to create cost element for Downpayments.
Normally as per design of SAP, down payment being a Balance Sheet Account (Current Asset as you rightly mentioned) doesnot need / accept an Cost object, as a special case since down payments for AUC needs to be capitalised and hence need to be carried to Controlling (Internal Order) by creating Cost Element for Downpayments.
Go ahead and create the cost element. That would resolve your issue.

The above warning message meant that your cost accounting is not configured for this account, in this case your account was not linked with internal orders, thats why it did not pick up the price there. You need to consult with FI to get this account fixed, or use some other account which is linked to internal order.

• Perform Payroll Posting using Internal Order

Hi All,
I would like to know what configuration that must be done to ensure that during payroll posting budget checking is performed using internal order.
I already searched in all available resources but found nothing. I read SAP Note 648594 but I still do not understand how the integration is built. Now we use cost center as cost object instead of internal order, and in the new requirement user wants to perform payroll posting to cost center and also perform budget checking via internal order.
For your information, I tried to maintained IT0027 and entered internal order with percentage 100% but when I posted the payroll result, expenses of the employee was posted to internal order instead of cost center.
Thank you,
Regards,
MAL

You may either enter in IT27, or against the position or org unit in PPOME.
If you entered an internal order as 100%, then the posting will of course post to the internal order.

• Internal order KO8G error

Hi
There have been some incorrect postings under particular cost element to a internal order. But the postings have been corrected, and according to FBL3N and KOC4 all amounts are zero now.
But when I try to run KO8G in period 3, or KO88 for a particular order the system is showing a error message :Complete allocation structure. Message no. KD503
I checked the internal order and the Settlement rule. ( I assign a different allocation structure to the sender: In the master data maintenance for the sender, choose "Settlement rule -> Goto -> Settlement parameters" and then enter a different allocation structure.)
The allocation structure fields was given correctly.
When I run the KO88 after modifications system is also throws the same error
Please help me in this matter.
Regards

It is very clear from the error message that to you are using allocation structure for settling the order cost. You can find out the settlement structure which is currently attached by selecting the settlement parameters of the order.
It appears that there a cost element, which has been posted on the order and no secondary cost element is specificed for transferring the same to cost receiver.
If you check the detailed error message, it will give you the cost element, which is not included in the allocation structure. Include the same in allocation structure and repeate the settlement.

• System status is closed (internal order) error while creation F110 proposal

Dear All ,
During creation of F110 proposal, the system checks the internal order status of open items. In case of the statu of internal order is CLSD, the stystem does not allow to create proposal . We change the statu of internal order as CLSD, because we do not want to post any expense posting to that internal order .
Is there a way to create the proposal although internal order statu is CLSD ?
Thanks,
Best Regards
Dash

Hi,
You have to re-open your order and create a proposal.
